Setting Up Your Metamask Wallet for Xend Finance Incentivized Testnet

Metamask is one of the most reliable and secure Ethereum wallets out there. It was recently made compatible with Binance Smart Chain which happens to be one of the chains to be integrated by Xend Finance, a DeFi startup. The metamask wallet is the wallet of choice in the ongoing XendFinance Incentivized testnet. Since this testnet involves the Binance Smart Chain, your metamask wallet has to be properly configured to enable Binance Smart Chain work effectively. Below is a step-by-step guide to enable Binance Smart Chain on metamask for the Xend Finance testnet.

I. Open the metamask download page.

II. Download and Install the mobile wallet compatible with your device (IOS or Android)

III. Create a new wallet or import a wallet using that wallet’s seed phrase.

IV. Input your password and continue.

V. Enable Binance Smart Chain by clicking on “settings”.

VI. Click on “Networks” (Add or Edit Custom RPC networks)

VII. Select “Add Network”.

VIII. Input the Custom RPC network details for Binance Smart Chain.

IX. Click “Add”.

X. Once Binance Smart Chain is added successfully, you would see it on the list of networks on your metamask wallet. Simply click on it and you have successfully enabled Binance Smart Chain on your metamask mobile wallet.

XI. Finally, go to the Xend Finance testnet home page and click on “Dashboard”.

III. Click “Get Started” after installation.
